In 1996 we made our first journey to the Holy Land and it changed our lives.
As we sat on the shore of the one and only Sea of Galilee, we felt the Holy Spirit stirring
in our hearts to bring our friends and family back with us so they could experience
Jesus in a new and fresh way. When we returned home, we began teaching about Israel, the land,
the people and the culture. As we studied the Old Testament, we learned how
God has been using the Jews in and out of the land for around 4,000 years.
A Journey to Jerusalem Tour is so much more than just taking people to Israel. It is our passion to help people experience Jesus in land where the Bible happened. People often ask what is our favorite place or thing to do in the Land. Our answer is always the same – watching their faces light up when they see the Sea of Galilee for the first time. Or perhaps entering the Holy City of Jerusalem through one of the ancient gates and watching them be overwhelmed with joy. Another site where people feel the presence of the Spirit is singing praise songs on the Mount of Olives overlooking the old city of Jerusalem. We love what we get to do and this is our passion and ministry.
Why do we do what we do? We want people to experience the Lord our God in the city He calls His own. It brings us great joy to see people’s relationship with God change forever as they walk where Jesus walked. We believe The Lord encourages us to Journey to Jerusalem, He says in Psalms 48:12-14, Walk about Zion/Jerusalem, go around her, count her towers, consider well her ramparts, view her citadels, that you may tell of them to the next generation.
We want to encourage you to follow the dream and desire that the Lord put in your heart to go to the land where the Bible comes alive.
